Imogen Waibel is a fine artist who explores nature and man’s interactions with it....

She has worked with themes of gazing outside from within, manipulating perspectives, extreme close-ups and low viewpoints to draw attention to the plant and animal life that exists alongside us.

Her photorealistic style has taken years to develop and has a painterly quality despite the accuracy of form created. Having moved to Portobello in 2023, she has started to explore this new environment in her most recent work.
